I’m not writing anything currently (there may or may not be some fanfic prompts I really need to fill first because they’re from...6 months ago...), though I’m tossing around some vague ideas in my head. I currently have no inspiration or motivation to go with the ideas, is the problem - I’m waiting for the spirit to move me :p

I was supposed to be doing other stuff over the past few days, instead I've written five 100 words fills*, including starting a new series that was supposed to be a standalone, but then a couple of nonnies said they'd like to read more and there is more in my head. Oops.

Nothing gets me writing like not having time to write.

* 2 x Harker the vampire, 1 x Strange Natures (Orion & Nine), and 2 with my new little one, Moses the Ugly Duckling.

For comparison purposes, the latest excerpt on FFA is from late chapter 3, BUT chapters 4+ are longer, since Minato's actually in school!

I'm procrastinating on edwardian m/m by writing something very, very iddy. It was originally meant for the 100 words of whipping thread, but it has grown Frankenstein-like proportions over the past twenty-four hours.

On the plus side, I've joined Camp NaNo!

I got to the bit in my current WIP where Politics matters again and now I'm scared of having to Actually Plot Politics T_T but otherwise the writing goes well, soon I'll have enough to post more!

I am also. Contemplating a second story. Because it is very iddy. But I don't know if I can contain two longer stories in my brain, especially when I overall have less time to write than I'd like. Also that damned new story is m/m even though I explicitly asked my brain for f/f prompts and I am In Despair.

OH ALSO (do I ever shut up the answer is no) I realized I miss writing Amika and then had like, an explosion of Interesting Insights into Themes and Shit and her Character Journey in Ghosts of the Borderland and now I am on the verge of using this journal to navel gaze about it. idk if I should be enabled though. My navel may not be that interesting.

I am partway through editing 200,000 words that are not mine and I am so tired. But in a week I'll be free! Then I'll go back to kicking at an early scene with some complicated fighting logistics, but as a reward, in the scene after that, I get to write Yumino starting her first aid kit and fangirling over a shaman/healer lady, and then probably Saskia accidentally-on-purpose staying awake to go sit with North while he heals again, but I have to decide what they talk about and/or avoid talking about.

I've had a sick puppy and have started a treat or two (that I don't know if I'll finish) for Nonconathon, so I haven't worked on my current WIP in nearly a week. But I'll get back to it! I'm happy that I have a pretty good sense of the world in this one, unlike The Prince's Progress.

I just axed version #4 of how this WIP ends and I only have a sketchy idea of what version #5 is. Why did I add so much plooooooot...

(Maybe the ending should be Amaury falls through a magic wardrobe into Narnia and he doesn’t have to deal with this shit anymore. He deserves it)

I've been having some trouble with both my original WIPs so I've been working on fanfic lately to kind of reset my writing mind if that makes sense. Because I know what has to happen next, it's just like wading through molasses getting the actual words out, grr.
